Delatite Wines are a small, family run winery, established in 1968 by Robert and Vivienne Ritchie and now run by their son David, with the assistance of winemaker, Andy Browning.
Owing to its cool climate and sub-alpine location in the High Country, Delatite has a substantial European-influenced, winemaking style. Widely recognised for producing delicate white aromatics and elegant reds.
Their approach to wine making has been forged from the family's history of working with the land in Victoria for over 170 years. They have been devoted to not only producing outstanding wines, but also developing sustainable vineyard practices and adopting biodynamic principles that will leave the land in a better state than when they started. Their philosophy allows the vineyard and grapes to express their true characters rather than the fingerprints of the winemaker....
