The Charcoal Inn is conveniently located in South Casino. True passion makes this grand hotel part of Casino's history. Through the trial and tribulation of the original hotel "Lion Hotel" being burnt to the ground, there was no stopping the Hotelier. Using singed timber and iron from the remains of the building, a temporary hotel was built in 1942. The new hotel building was rebuilt with the only fitting name "The Charcoal Inn" and has been trading as this ever since. Having full bar facilities, TAB, accommodation, entertainment and bistro as well as the beer garden and veranda, come along and enjoy an ice cold beer and a delicious meal at the Charcoal Inn.
