Details: Cairns Student Lodge closely teams with JCU to offer the full university study/accommodation experience. With up to 225 students living on site, Lodge residents have an opportunity to create lifelong friendships with people from all over the globe. Residents share meals in the Dining Hall, enjoy games in the communal lounge area, simply watch TV or have a quiet relax by the pool. On the more serious side, you can join in with on-site study groups to help get you through those studies! Students from all over the world and around Australia call Cairns Student Lodge ‘home’. We are located 400m from the JCU Cairns Campus connected via a pathway from the Lodge direct through an underpass to the Campus grounds. It takes approx 10 min to walk from the Lodge to the Uni (depending how fast you walk!) Apart from a private bedroom, your rent includes FREE unlimited internet access via your JCU account, all electricity and gas, a weekly cleaning of bathroom and living room, a personal phone line (you just pay for outgoing calls), car parking, swimming pool, volleyball court, community TV/Lounge/Bar/Game area and much more.
